The Land of Oppurtunity

Sunday, July 23rd, 2006

My sister, Abby, is in Russia. My mom is riding out to Alberta, Canada. Todd & Donna are in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Their children, Amy, Michael and Alex, are with their other parents, as they both have children from their previous marriages. So, for a week, I’ll be home alone.

I was recognized as a college student for the first time on Saturday, whilst making conversation with a girl at Subway. I look forward to being able to making leisure conversation with this new girl at Subway. [Subway is about a quarter of a mile up the hill from where I work, and therefore a very frequent lunch choice.] They make pretty good sandwiches there, anyway. Even though I have had Subway about once a week for three years or so, I don’t really know any of the Subway ladies. I feel that recognition by a staff member [i.e. “Hey Benson, how’s the store?” or “Good afternoon, Benson. Your regular two sandwiches?”] We have quite a few regulars at work. I like most of them.

I leave for Ohio State in 57 days.

Side note: I talked to Daddy Dollars about buying a MacBook. That is approved. I am excited. Apple MacBook Day is in 28 days.
